There is a high school in the Desire area of New Orleans. In 2005, this building was decimated by Hurricane Katrina. The school’s operations have since moved to a series of teaching trailers in the 9th Ward. The remaining structure has become NOLA’s answer to 5 Pointz in NYC - though trespassing on the property warrants arrest and none of the space is regulated by the artists - it is no less amazing. The entire side of a two story building is covered in one cohesive piece of art.
If you can’t travel down to New Orleans, buy a print and have a little piece of the restoration on your wall.
