My 100th Post! Likely one of my last from the wonderful country of Cambodia, but that doesn’t mean I’m out of stories. Stay tuned for more photos and video after I get back home! I’ve got a journal full of awesome to share with you.

You never see it coming
Who would have thought that eating at a western restaurant in Siem Reap would be the one place in this country that I would get food poisoning. The first night in the city we ate at a place called the Red Piano, that night I woke up with crazy gut pains. The next morning, I saw Angkor Wat, climbed up to the summit, crawled through 4 more temples, then climbed another mountain at the end of the day...

More moto riding. This time at night with Thavary’s small fleet of cousins. I rode with Bahrain. She pointed out all the cool spots in town in as much English as she could muster. I love riding scooters. There is no better way to travel - when you live in a place where it never snows or gets cold, and you never have to carry lots of stuff anywhere.

day 10
I did not sleep last night. I was plagued with anxiety ridden nightmares and the feeling that someone was trying to get into my room. The sound of the air conditioner was eerily similar to someone rattling the door knob.  Thavary had a similar experience so at least it was not my own psychosis.    This is a view from the roof of a mall we shot the sunset from. This city really is a sight to see...

I was going to edit something together and post something nice tonight, but then I discovered how much iMovie sucks and that I can only really edit things in Final Cut, and with all the importing and exporting, I simply to not have the energy tonight. To hold you over until I get my business together, here is a video of a monkey. Enjoy!

My mom would be so upset if she could see me now. It’s a mom’s job to be worried when her only/youngest daughter makes a habit of leaving our ‘safe’ American shores to go on some far reaching adventure. If she only knew I spent most of the day on the back of a motorcycle carrying an expensive camera and hanging on with nothing but my feet. Han and I took a tour through the...

News from Phnom Penh/The Future.
After over 25 hours of air travel I am finally in Phnom Pehn. My BAG however is somewhere in Seattle. There are many reasons why this could have happened. They claim that the bag arrived late to Seattle from Chicago, but all of its check in buddies arrived on the other side of the world on time. Perhaps Bag wanted to check out the grunge scene, or get some coffee atop the space needle. Maybe...
